Crumb rubber is produced from end-of-life Truck & Bus radial tires. During the recycling process, steel and tire cord (fluff) are removed, leaving tire rubber with a granular consistency. The particles are sized and classified based on various criteria. The granulate is sized by passing through a classifying screen, the size based on mesh (ASTM). The most common mesh sizes include 10 Mesh to 120 Mesh.
